The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum (CAF-FCA) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to advancing a highly skilled, inclusive, and adaptable skilled trades workforce. Bringing together employers, unions, equity-priority groups, educational institutions, and governmental bodies from coast to coast, CAF-FCA fosters collaboration to shape policies and practices that strengthen Canada’s apprenticeship systems. These stakeholders support CAF-FCA’s operations through membership and active participation.

As the only organization uniting apprenticeship stakeholders across trades, sectors, and regions, CAF-FCA leads the national conversation on apprenticeship. Through research, events, and strategic discussions, CAF-FCA provides stakeholders with trusted insights into apprenticeship barriers and challenges while highlighting the significant benefits of hiring and training apprentices.

Amid current and projected skilled trades shortages, CAF-FCA plays a critical role in advocating with federal and provincial/territorial governments to elevate apprenticeship training and tackle shared challenges. Canada’s economic resilience depends on cultivating skilled workers in sectors like construction, energy, manufacturing, motive power, and services.

Join the CAF-FCA network and gain access to invaluable resources that benefit all apprenticeship stakeholders, including tradespeople, educators, employers, government representatives, labour organizations, and underrepresented groups.
